NOW YOU WAKE- BY COLD BLUE KID

It’s that feeling you get when you reminisce on someone in your past that you loved but are no longer with. “Now You Wake” by Cold Blue Kid gets it. Painting the story of the mad love/heartache you have that hurts, but can’t live without. Sometimes if you just close your eyes you can bring it all back. Igniting this spellbound sense of psychedelic dream-love is singer/song writer Alex Longoria and Elizabeth Burchfield whose dreamy, sensual voice delivers the chills.

Keeping busy with another side project called Hidden Era, a folk/acoustic collaboration between Alex Longoria and Elizabeth Burchfield, and working on their new album that’s due to arrive in April, Cold Blue Kid is on their way to the top.

NOW YOU WAKE

I shouldn’t close my eyes,

shuffle through my dreams,

when our trains collide,

right before you scream

oh, you’re so beautiful

that’s what we always say

when we close our eyes

I whisper now you wake

Convicted empty streets,

virtual suicide

cryptic words repeat

never say goodbye

oh, you’re so beautiful

that’s what we always say

when we close our eyes

I whisper now you wake

oh, you’re so beautiful

that’s what we always say

when we close our eyes

I whisper now you wake

And when we close our eyes

I whisper now you wake

I whisper now you wake

I whisper now you wake
