Audiences:

I really can’t say enough good things about this four-piece band, Audiences. Their new single “Ghosts” shows off their ability to rock hard while appealing to other audiences who like the mellower sounds. Driftless Pony Club creates indie/rock music with a 90s feel.

The Earth is a Man:

Influenced by Chicago-based bands Tortoise and Maps & Atlases, The Earth is a Man uses techniques known as math rock, mixing guitar and tapping techniques to create a unique instrumental experience.

Elephant Gun:

This high energy 9 -piece band was formed in 2007. My favorite album by them would have to be ‘The City Wins.’ Check them out on Bandcamp.

Chicago’s alternative/rock band Give Back continues to stir up the Chicago music scene with their catchy lyrics and obvious instrumental talent.

Hollows:

Hollows, the mostly all gal band plus one man drummer, deliver a unique garage-rock sound that has nostalgic, retro-like appeal with songs like “V is for Vulture” and “Golden Chain.”

Described as having a similar sound to artists like Radiohead, the Jealous Sound, and Sunny Day Real Estate, The Second still remains to hold their own unique style. Their new album ‘Long Way Down” is worth a listen.

The Shams Band:

The Shams blend a unique mix of bluegrass, Americana, and folk.

Simple Machines:

Tadashi:

Tadashi has a bright future ahead. With singer, songwriter Jeff Tadashi writing and mixing strong lyrics and unique keys accompanied by guitarists Dan Spannraft and Grecian heart throb/new comer, Greg Suhayda (he’s like John Stamos only younger ladies), Chris Walls on bass, and drummer Paul Lucas, there’s no limit to what these guys can do. Terriers:

Terriers was born after the splitting of a previous band Holdfast.  Songwriter Danny Cohen went right to work seeking the help of bandmates Easton Gruber and Brandon Hunt forming a new group Terriers with new band members Nora Leahy and Allyson Zeyen. This talented 6-piece band has an appealing and catchy sound that will keep you wanting more. Their debut single, “Waste Time” proves that this band has a bright future. Torch Singer:
