Singer-songwriter Shelley Miller hits the stage at Beat Kitchen this Sunday, April 29th for the release of her album ‘February’. Openers include: Emily Hurd, Sara Holtschlag and The Crosscuts, and Midnight Moxie.

About ‘February’:

Shelly Miller creates a deep and soulful album that covers all spectrums of melody from soft, sweet lyrics in her songs “kitchen” and “Lion” to her powerful rock-like vocals in “White Moon.” Written in the weeks following Chicago’s 2011 blizzard, one can pick up on the dark and chilling mood Shelley must have been feeling while writing ‘February’. But don’t think this album is all about darkness and gloom, ‘February’ also references powerful emotions of love and truth, ultimately capturing the beauty of Chicago, love, and life.
